Renaissance Charter School of St. Lucie

Port Lucie, FL

Design/build an 110,670 square foot elementary school in Port St. Lucie, Florida.  This three-story, tilt-wall building consisted of approximately 80 classrooms, art and computer labs, music room, media room, multi-purpose room and science rooms.  Also includes energy efficient cooling system/ chiller plant.  Exterior playground and recreation areas.  This out-of-town project was completed within a very tight schedule.  Originally, enrollment was estimated to be one quarter of the school’s potential, but as the townspeople saw first hand, such fast-tract quality construction, the doors opened in August 2009 to full capacity.
